Japan is a fascinating country full of culture and excitement. There is no shortage of sightseeing adventures to take part in while touring Japan. Yokohama is perhaps one of the best places to sight-see in Japan. Yokohama is home to several museums as well as popular Chinatown. Tourists also typically enjoy visiting Tokyo and taking a ride on the monorail to visit Odaiba. Odaiba is an island with some of the most beautiful beaches as well as a number of stores for shopping and museums for educational and cultural purposes.

Another popular sightseeing location in Japan is Ginza which is located in Tokyo. Ginza is the home to a wide variety of night clubs, restaurants, and various other cultural attractions. Ginza becomes much like a festival during the weekends which is one of the main reasons why tourists love the location. If a tourist is visiting Japan for a business trip, they should always carry their passport around with them at all times. It is a law in Japan that visitors from other areas must carry their passport at all times. Japan is a fairly safe location and has a considerably low crime rate which is good news for tourists.

Japanese is the national language of Japan, and it can be highly confusing to foreign travelers who are not prepared. Learn a few key phrases to assist in communicating throughout the community you will be entering. Many Japanese speak foreign languages to accommodate international business partners but being familiar with their language will build excellent rapport.

The Japanese are very proud of their tradition of courtesy.Confused? Here ‘s a little help . Whether visiting a boardroom or a local convenience store, the Japanese express a universal sense of hospitality and consideration. Learning to appropriately respond to situations that may call for a bow or a corresponding phrase will help one to acclimate to the local culture. Remember, small things like not tipping in restaurants are standard ways of expressing a knowledge and sensitivity to local culture.

Finally, those traveling on business to Japan may be exposed to a work day longer than they are accustomed to. The Japanese have a strong commitment to work that typically prolongs their office time past the parameters expected of foreigners.

When travelling to Japan you may be hesitant as travelling to any foreign country can be a scary experience. Japan is very accommodating for foreign visitors. Here are a few things you can expect while vacationing in Japan. Most importantly is that you will find it easy to get around there. Not only are most signs written in English as well as Japanese, but there is also a large system of public transportation available in the country. English is a very important subject in Japan and most older students and college students are fluent in English so that will make the language barrier a little easier. You will also find that the Japanese greatly enjoy Western food and you can find Western food just about anywhere in Japan. Japan also houses a lot of Western world hotels, so don’t be surprised when you see hotels you are used to all over in Japan. Also you must know that overall Japan is expensive. Make sure you plan accordingly when it comes to budgeting in Japan as you will everything to be much more expensive than you are used to. Also bring plenty of cash, a lot places do not accept credit cards.More info here: Japan:Tropical storm leaves 3 dead in Japan

Japan is famous for its glowing cities, soothing hot springs, and majestic mountains. Tourist destinations such as Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Mt. Fuji. offer historical and cultural treasures. They also may display magnificent modern and futuristic sights. In this article, I will be covering three modern and historic treasures of Japan. They are Osorezan Temple, Himeji Castle, and Disneyland.

OSOREZAN TEMPLE (MOUNT OSORE)

The temple is one of the most sacred places in Japan; it was discovered by a Buddhist monk over 1000 years ago. It hosts the Bodaiji Temple and also has splendid architecture from the past. Though the mountain is called “Fear Mountain,” this is due to the fact that it is rich in volcanic activity. Osorezan is also known as the Gateway to afterlife, since it has geographical and architectural resemblances to the one described in the religion. The site also provides hot spring baths.

HIMEII CASTLE, HIMEJI

Himeii Castle is considered to be the most spectacular castle in Japan. Unlike other castles/fortresses, Himeii has never been threatened or destroyed by warfare or natural disasters; it remains in its original form. The Himeii Castle is also a National Treasure and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a wood interior and impressive moats and walls.

DISNEYLAND

Located in Tokyo and built in 1983, the Tokyo Disneyland is great fun for the kids. The park is based off of Walt Disney’s films; the site is split into seven different-themed lands and seasonal celebrations, parades, and decorations. The place offers a nice, light setting, and you can have a blast whether you are an adult or a child. Disneyland features Tomorrowland, Toontown, Fantasyland, Critter Country, Western Land, and Adventureland. On your way out, you can even go through World Bazaar, a line of gift shops, arcades and restaurants.

Good Luck!
